Brief Description
Atlas is a global leader who design, create and build solutions for slitting and rewinding technology within a wide variety of industries. Atlas has created this Apprentice program to develop Mechanical and Electrical Fitters to work with us to launch a career in Engineering.
Qualifications Required
3 GCSEs A*- D (or 9 – 3) including English and Math's plus a technical based subject such as Engineering or Product Design.

The successful applicant will be motivated to follow a career in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and have the drive to progress within the business. Our apprenticeship program offers full training to become a qualified Electrical/Mechanical Fitter, which can progress within the company to our Engineering divisions: Test, Service, Design, and Sales.
The training offered will be combined with engineering aspects including:
• Build new production machines.
• Install / fitting of new machines, new components and assemblies.
• Use hand tools and learn skilled fitting techniques.
• Gain experience in all Engineering and Production departments.
• Fault finding / testing.
