Are you looking to begin a career in Engineering? This is an outstanding opportunity to become a fully qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with Cummins in Wellingborough. You will be gaining practical experience with a global leader in engine technology. Cummins are looking for two new apprenticeships to join their team.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-4 (A*- C) in English and maths.

Vacancy Detail

Cummins in Wellingborough are looking for 2 engineering apprentices.

This Workshop Technician Apprentice role is a developmental position within the Distribution Business Unit. You will have the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skill base to diagnose, repair and build a variety of Cummins engines. You will play an active role in contributing to the achievement of different team deliverables and objectives. During the apprenticeship you will learn all aspects of this company, including the day to day administration.

You will work closely with a team of qualified technicians on a range of engines and equipment to develop your knowledge and understanding of all aspects of diagnosing (including running engine dyno tests), repairing, servicing and building engines, leading to becoming a fully competent technician.
