Brief Description

Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths.

Briggs Irrigation in Corby is a leading UK manufacturer of specialist irrigation equipment. Since1985 they have designed and built hose reels, irrigation booms and pump systems used worldwide. They combine traditional engineering skills with modern technology and invest heavily in apprentices.
So in this apprenticeship you will be working towards your Level 2 Engineering Operative qualification with day release at Tresham College and, gain real workplace experience while studying.
You will learn all about:
MIG welding and fabrication
Engineering drawings
Fibre laser operations
CNC production support
Quality and safety standards
