Brief Description

RSP UK Ltd, based in Roxton, Bedfordshire, are looking for a motivated and organised Business Administration Apprentice to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is customer-focused and has a keen eye for detail. Applicants must hold a full driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-4 (A*- C) in English and maths.

Vacancy Detail

RSP UK was founded in 2016, as the UK subsidiary of the RSP group, who have manufactured premium suction excavators since 1993, when production began in Saalfeld, Germany. As a Business Support Administration Apprentice with RSP UK Ltd, you will gain hands-on experience across a variety of business functions while working towards a recognised qualification. This is an excellent opportunity to develop valuable workplace skills in administration, communication, organisation and business operations within a supportive and professional environment.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a proactive approach to their work. You will enjoy working as part of a team, be adaptable when priorities change and feel confident communicating with colleagues across different departments.

In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Service team by carrying out tasks such as data entry, document management, updating service records, preparing basic quotations and scanning and maintaining PDI documentation. You will also manage incoming telephone calls and emails, responding to routine enquiries where appropriate or directing them to the relevant team member with guidance from the Senior Operations Coordinator.

As your confidence and experience grow, you will assist with scheduling service appointments and coordinating engineers to ensure work is completed efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring documentation is filed and archived in line with company procedures. You will also help monitor office and facilities stock levels, ensuring essential supplies are ordered and replenished when required.

The apprenticeship will provide opportunities to work with other departments across the business. You will support the Training Coordinator with a range of administrative duties, including scanning and archiving customer information, assisting with diary management and providing administrative cover during periods of absence. In addition, you will work alongside the Sales Coordinator by preparing Customer Purchase Agreements (CPA) for lead-in vehicles, helping to ensure the RSP vehicle fleet remains compliant with requirements such as MOTs, PMIs and tachograph calibrations, while also providing support when required.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will be encouraged to develop your knowledge, build your confidence and gain practical experience across the business, providing an excellent foundation for a successful career in business administration.

As the role is based at their premises in the rural village of Roxton, where public transport links are limited, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle to travel to and from work.

Interviews will be week commencing 17th August (date to be confirmed).
