PCM Group in Corby are looking for an Engineering Fitter Apprentice.

You will work alongside experienced engineers who will teach you everything you need to know, giving you the chance to develop practical skills and gain real industry experience.

As part of the team, you will learn:

How to manufacture and assemble specialist plastic equipment using a variety of tools, machinery, and engineering techniques.

Help repair and service pumps and dosing systems in the workshop and at customer sites, learning how to identify faults, replace parts, and test equipment.

Build complete pipework systems by following engineering drawings and using techniques such as plastic welding, fusion welding, gluing, and pressure testing.

Gain experience with electrical installations, including routing cables, wiring power and control systems, connecting equipment, and carrying out testing.

Use the latest tools and equipment while working on real projects that make a difference for customers.

Develop valuable skills in engineering, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication that will support a long-term career.

No previous engineering experience is needed—just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for starting your career. The employer will provide the training and support to help you succeed.
