Brief Description

Qualifications Required
It is essential that the successful candidate has a minimum GCSE Level 4 and above in English, Maths and Science.

Vacancy Detail
Hi-Tech Automation projects range from small “Pick and Place” projects to large turn key system. Their customer base is comprised of small family companies looking for short return on Investment of “One Man One Robot” to large multinationals with long-term investment plans.
So what will you be doing?
You will be learning all about electrical build and wiring and help with the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of robotics and automated machinery.
You will support fault finding across electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
As well as this you will help respond to breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance.
You will contribute to system upgrades and continuous improvement projects and work closely with engineers to support efficient production and project delivery.
As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced engineers, learning how to design, build, install, electrical, mechanical and control systems used in automated machinery and robotic applications.
You will attend the Corby campus for your college attendance, please consider carefully how you will get to both work and college.
Do you have a passport? This would be ideal to allow for Ireland travel if required.
