Brief Description
Are you looking for a career in engineering? As an Engineering Maintenance Apprentice you will support the upkeep and performance of machinery and equipment used in ceramic core production. You’ll work alongside skilled engineers to learn the fundamentals of mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and preventative servicing.
Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-4 (A*- C) in English and maths.

Morgan Advanced Materials in Corby are looking for an engineering apprentice to join their team. This company designs and manufactures advanced ceramic components from a portfolio of cutting edge materials. They offer a wide range of advanced ceramic and glass materials, in-depth materials expertise and vast applications experience in diverse markets. They routinely engineer complex parts that enhance the reliability or the performance of their customers' products.
In this role your responsibilities will be to:
Assist in maintaining and repairing production equipment and facilities
Learn to diagnose faults and carry out corrective actions under supervision
Support planned preventative maintenance schedules
Follow health and safety procedures and promote safe working practices
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime
Participate in job rotation across departments to broaden your experience
Use tools and equipment safely and effectively
Adhering to all ThinkSAFE protocols and promoting a proactive safety culture
Attend Tresham college in Corby as part of your apprenticeship program
