Vacancy Detail
This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic person to support the growth of the Blues Family. You will be a part of a small, but ambitious team based at Goldington Road. You will be involved in the delivery of sponsorship, hospitality and events.
From its formation in 1886 through to the present day, Bedford Rugby Club has always retained its place as a focal point of the town and that of a traditional family club. Bedford Blues are looking for the right person to join them. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate good customer service skills as this is a big part of the role.
Working within a fast-paced and agile business, the successful person will need to show a willingness to learn and have a strong work-ethic and can-do attitude.
In this role you will be working independently on projects and work closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure delivery of commercial targets.
As well as this you will assist the Commercial Manager in generating sponsorship and hospitality sales leads as well as managing and activating accounts appropriately.
You will collate existing consumer data and take responsibility for the continued management of this data and make better use of the club’s ticketing platform, and help manage this function when required.
You will be part of the team for home matches to ensure Bedford Blues continues to deliver best in class match day experiences.
The role is 35 hours per week, typically your hours will be between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with some very occasional evening and weekend work. The employer is happy to be flexible with hours, taking into consideration business needs.
