Dr Khokher & Partners in Bedford are looking for an apprentice to help with not only the reception duties, but also data entry, maintaining patient records, dealing with reports and referrals and much more. Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role you will ideally need GCSEs at grades 9-3 (A*-D) in English and maths (or equivalent)

You will gain the following qualifications:
- Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required).
You will also study a range of topics, including: IT, record and document production, decision making, planning and organisation, project management, policies, relevant regulations, stakeholders, processes and external environment factors.

Vacancy Detail
Dr Khokher & Partners are a busy doctors surgery based at Queens Park Group Surgery in Bedford. They have a range of clinicians, including six GPs, five practice nurses, one prescribing practitioner and multiple health care assistants. This is a great opportunity where, as an apprentice, you will learn a lot about this practice and your duties will be very varied.
Good customer service is vital because you may be required to help with reception when required and to cover holidays and sick leave at both Queens Park Surgery and, the near by Honeysuckle Way Surgery. The role also includes answering phones, making appointments, booking in patients and dealing with any general enquiries.
As well as this you will be entering vital data onto the computer using Microsoft work and excel. You will be preparing letters and reports and dealing with referrals. Occasionally copying medical records and dealing with invoices.
You will be ensuring that patients details are up to date, as well as inputting new patients details onto the computer. You will deal with emails and telephone enquiries as well as E Consult requests.
On occasion you will be required to assist the other admin team and Practice Manager and deal with postal duties and errands as well as ensuring filing is up to date.
You will attend any meetings as required and attend any on line courses to keep up to date with the practice rules, such as confidentiality and record keeping.
Although you will be required to cover both practices, your main base will be Queens Park Surgery.
