Brief Description

Tayto in Corby are looking for an engineering apprentice. The apprenticeship will cover a 4 year period and train individuals to achieve a recognised fully funded qualification in Mechatronics, this is a multi-skilled programme combining both mechanical and electrical trades.

Qualifications Required

You will have 3 GCSEs at grades 9 - 4 or (A*-C) or equivalent in English, maths and science.

Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Level 3
EAL Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing
EAL Level 2 Award for Foundation Phase Gateway Assessment
EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering - Mechatronics Maintenance Technician
Pearsons Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering

Future Prospects

Whilst the apprenticeship is a 4 year fixed term contract. There is no guarantee of an Engineering role at the end of the apprenticeship. If, in the event of a role not being available, Tayto will make every attempt to offer a suitable alternative employment within the business, if possible.
