Brief Description
The successful candidate will become proficient in performing regular on-going maintenance of company machinery and perform repairs as needed.
Qualifications Required
A*- C GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
Basic written and verbal communication skills with good numeracy and analytical skills are essential

Training to be Provided
In agreement with the Site Service and Engineering Manager/Learning and Development (L&D), the job holder will be required to attend and complete required national recognised training courses. This will involve attendance at local educational establishments, on a day release basis as appropriate, leading to a recognised qualification.
You will be expected to attend and complete a manual handling course.
Training to be provided: PEO L2, NVQ Electrical Engineering Level 3, VRQ Electrical Engineering Level 3 and Functional Skills if required.
Future Prospects
To educate the successful candidate to at least a HND in electrical engineering as well as providing a strong mechanical knowledge and understanding.
Vacancy Detail
The successful candidate will become proficient in performing regular on-going maintenance of company machinery and perform repairs as needed, including the completion of inspection reports and to perform other general maintenance duties as requested by management
Through training and mentoring the Apprentice will develop the necessary skills to maintain machinery and complete inspection reports on a weekly basis. Main duties will include; carrying out team repairs, maintaining stock levels/inventory, site maintenance and general upkeep/ad hoc repairs both inside and out.

Other Information
The role will involve repetitive PPM work and in the winter the environment will be cold. The Engineering Teams shift pattern includes working nights.
