Brief Description : To learn a full range of skills within the scope of plastic injection moulding machines. Including hydraulics, mechanical engineering, electrical, electronics, and plastics processing. The end result could be a role as a field service engineer .
Qualifications Required : You will need a minimum of three GCSEs at grades A*-D / 9-4 or Level 1 equivalent, ideally including English, maths, science and or a technical based subject such as engineering or product design.
Minimum NVQ level 1 in mechanical or electrical engineering
Also good grades in Physics

To learn all aspects of the injection moulding machine. Includes some refurbishment of older machines which will give a greater understanding of moulding principles
Hydraulic systems including pumps, valves and servo drives
Digital, solid state and Micro processor controls

New machines specifications and testing
The candidate will work alongside a skilled engineer for most projects in his first year.

Salary : £156.00 Per Week
