Brief Description

Apprentice program for Mechanical and Electrical Fitters to work with us and launch a career in Engineering. Atlas is a global leader who design, create and build machines for manufacturers of goods/products within a wide variety of industries.

Qualifications Required

3 GCSEs A*- D (or 9 – 3) including English and Math's and science or equivalent plus a technical based subject such as engineering or product design.

Vacancy Detail

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and looking for a future career in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Our apprenticeship program offers full training to become a qualified Electrical/Mechanical Fitter, which can progress within the company to our Engineering divisions: Test, Service, Design, and Sales. The training offered will be a combined with engineering aspects including:
• Build new production machines
• Install / fitting of new machines, new components and assemblies
• Use hand tools and learn skilled fitting techniques
• Gain experience in all engineering and production departments
• Fault finding / testing

Other Information

Computer literate is not mandatory but is required to have some computer knowledge, as training on bespoke packages and internal systems / machinery is part of the apprenticeship program.
