Brief Description

CAM Group Services in Geddington are looking for an Electrician Apprentice to join their team. They are looking for someone who has some electrical experience. You will be carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and testing work and so much more.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-4 (A*- C) in English and maths. CAM Group in Geddington are looking an Electrician Apprentice.

CAM Electrical are a growing company, and they are looking for an apprentice to join their team. Applicants will need to have some electrical experience for this role. You will need to be able to drive due to customers locations and you will need to be 18 years old or over due to the nature of the role.

They looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable and enjoys working as part of a team. With ideally some experience in electrical installations, solar PV or domestic/commercial work.

So, what will you be doing?

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and testing work

First and second fix electrical installations

Installing, connecting and commissioning electrical equipment

Carrying out inspection and testing in accordance with current regulations

Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues

Working from drawings, specifications and installation instructions

Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

Completing relevant paperwork, test certificates and job records

Working alongside other trades and members of the installation team

Following company RAMS, health & safety procedures and site requirements

Maintaining tools, equipment and company vehicles to a good standard

Representing CAM Electrical professionally when working with customers and clients

Electrical installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV systems. 

The company are looking for someone who ideally has:

Electrical experience, and may have 18th Edition Wiring Regulations with a good understanding of electrical systems and safe working practices.

You will need to have a Full UK driving licence or have your test date booked.

On occasion you will work away so there will be the occasional over night stay.
