Qualifications Required

Training to be Provided

During this apprenticeship, you will study the following topics: General business, understanding your organization, accounting systems, basic accounting, ethical standard, IT systems, communication and team working.
On completion of the apprenticeship, you will have achieved a Level 2 Accounts / Finance Assistant apprenticeship and an AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting (Level 2).

Dux are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts & Bookkeeping Apprentice to join their growing accounting practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while studying towards a recognised accounting qualification. You will support the accounts team in day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks and develop valuable skills within a professional environment.

As an apprentice, you will assist with: Recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate records, processing purchase and sales invoices, bank reconciliations, assisting with VAT returns, supporting payroll processing, managing receipts and expenses, using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks, providing general administrative support to the team and communicating with clients and responding to basic queries.

On completion of the apprenticeship, you will achieve a Level 2 in Accounts.
