Qualifications Required
You will need a minimum of three GCSEs at grades 9-3 (A*-D), including English, maths and science, or equivalent.

Vacancy Detail
TM Contractors in Barton Seagrave in Kettering are looking for a reliable Carpenter / Joiner Apprentice to join their growing team. The role involves working on a variety of commercial refurbishment projects across the UK, including office fit-outs, renovations, and maintenance works.
As part of their team, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality carpentry and joinery work on-site, whilst also benefiting from the fact that all bespoke items are manufactured in-house before installation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys varied work, travelling to different locations, and being part of projects from manufacture through to installation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Carry out carpentry and joinery work on commercial refurbishment projects.
Install and replace doors, frames, ironmongery, and associated fixtures.
Remove and replace suspended ceilings as part of office refurbishment programmes.
Undertake strip-out and rip-out works, including the removal of existing fixtures and fittings.
Install bespoke joinery items manufactured by our in-house workshop team.
Work on office fit-outs, refurbishments, alterations, and maintenance projects.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within project deadlines.
Maintain a safe and tidy working environment, following all health and safety procedures.
Travel to customer sites throughout the UK as required, so they are looking for someone who can drive or is having driving lessons. You will be reimbursed your petrol costs.
If you live in Kettering the employer may be able to arrange a pick up.
