Christy Plumbing and Heating is a family-run business providing professional plumbing and heating services to customers across the local area. Known for their reliable service and strong customer relationships, the company offers a supportive and hands-on environment where apprentices can gain real insight into how a successful business operates day to day.
As a Business Administrator Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting a range of business functions while developing a broad and highly transferable skill set. Your duties will include scheduling and planning jobs, preparing documents, organising materials, and maintaining accurate records. You will use IT systems and software to complete administrative tasks, create and update spreadsheets, and ensure all information is recorded clearly and efficiently. You will also support the coordination of workflows, helping plumbers stay on track with their jobs and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
You will communicate regularly with plumbers, office staff, customers, suppliers, and contractors, building strong professional relationships and developing your confidence in a customer-focused environment. This role will require you to prioritise tasks, manage changing deadlines, and take a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will also have the opportunity to identify ways to improve systems and processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the business. This apprenticeship is a great opportunity to build confidence, develop practical skills, and begin a career in business administration within a supportive team.

Please note, this role is based within a home office environment, as the business is family-run. Therefore, applicants must be aged 18 or over.
The employer is looking for an immediate starter, there will be flexibility on the proposed start date.
