Brief Description
Mace Industries in Corby are looking for a CNC Engineer Apprentice who will run programmes and load materials for the machines. They are looking for a team player who has energy, drive and a desire to learn. As you develop there will be the opportunity to further develop your skills.
Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths

Mace Industries Ltd in Corby is a SME engineering fabrication company specialising in bespoke design, manufacture and installation or architectural structures supporting the UK passenger transport industry. They also support a product range of street furniture, working primarily with aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel materials.

They have an in-house design team that works in AutoCAD and Inventor that works closely with the CNC Department.
As a CNC Engineer Apprentice you will join the CNC Team and assist in the operation of the following:
• 3-Axis Router
• Laser
• Laser Turret Punch
• Press Brake
• Tube Bender
• CNC Compound Mitre Saw
Follow all machining procedures you will keep a tidy work area.
Keep a good line of communication open with the engineering team.
Accurately read and machine from technical drawings.
They are looking for an apprentice who will run programmes and load materials for the above machines and a team player who has energy and drive and a desire to learn.
As you develop there will be the opportunity to further develop your skills in programming.
