Brief Description

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades A*- C (9-4) in English and maths, or equivalent.

Vacancy Detail

J Marshal Gardens, based in Shillington are a small but expanding gardening company, they are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and conscientious individual to join their growing team as a Horticulture apprentice.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced gardeners, taking part in a variety of outdoor tasks such as:

Planting and maintaining attractive garden areas

Edging, weeding, and general garden care

Strimming, mowing, and hedge trimming to keep spaces looking their best

Supporting occasional fencing repairs and light maintenance duties

Protective equipment and a company uniform are provided, ensuring the new team member can work safely and comfortably.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, values being part of a supportive team, and takes pride in creating and maintaining beautiful green spaces.

Other Information

Please take into consideration this role will be based outdoors all year round in all weather and the role can be physically demanding.
