Brief Description
Spicer Consulting Ltd in Bedford are looking for an apprentice to provide professional, friendly and efficient administration and, a welcoming reception service for the company. To work as part of a team to ensure the day-to-day operations of the business run smoothly.
Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-4 (A*- C) in English and maths.
And ideally A levels.

Vacancy Detail
Spicer Consulting Ltd are based in Bedford. Since they were established in 1988, Spicer Consulting has built a world-wide reputation in active magnetic field cancelling for electron microscopes and similar instruments.
They are now looking for a Administration Assistant and Receptionist Apprentice to join them.
The following is an indicative list of duties which is not exhaustive and will be subject to review.
Company administration and reception duties:
Deliver a professional and efficient welcoming reception service and deal with general enquiries from visitors.
Provide clerical support to administration team such as routine typing/word processing, completing forms, filing and photocopying.
Ensure that allocated work is completed accurately and efficiently within the required timescales.
To operate the company’s telephone system, forwarding calls as appropriate, taking/delivering messages and arrange trips/transport for staff and visitors as required.
Assist with ordering of office and canteen consumables, stock checking and receiving deliveries and arrange and manage shredding as and when required.
Take in deliveries/mail and distribute accordingly.
Ensure the reception area and gangways are kept neat and tidy.
Communication with external parties verbally and in writing.
Design and production of notices, fliers, newsletters and similar materials for staff and arrangement and coordination of meetings and ensuring facilities are booked and refreshments arranged as required.
Taking minutes at meetings if requested.
