To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-4 (A*- C) in English, math and Science.

This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your engineering career, gain valuable hands-on experience, and work towards a recognised qualification. You will be involved in a variety of projects, working alongside experienced engineers and applying engineering concepts for the optimization of equipment and procedures to achieve better maintainability, reliability, and availability of equipment whilst building all of the necessary mechanical and electrical skills.

Key roles and responsibilities:

You will assist experienced engineers in the upkeep, design, development and testing of a variety of high speed manufacturing equipment within FMCG.

Learn and apply engineering principles and techniques under supervision.

You will participate in the manufacturing or fabrication of components and assemblies.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and contribute to project documentation.

Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Use and maintain tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Attend college/training sessions as required to complete your apprenticeship program.
