Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme.

Vacancy Detail
Based at the centre of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, The Quartz Worktop Company is comprised of a highly regarded and respected team. They work with a large and comprehensive selection of Quartz, Granite, Marble and Porcelain. All domestic and commercial projects are seamlessly passed from start to finish within their complete production facility. With their state of the art machinery and skilled, experienced Stone-Masons, they are equipped to complete any project required.
Your role will include operating their 4 & 5 axis CNC cutting and milling machines (programming and setting), you will learn about the different types of tooling that is used and the basics of the machine itself and programming and drawing programs in Autocad. In addition, you will carry out routine checks and maintenance of the machines in line with health & safety, operating their 12k resolution slab scanner and building and programming 3D models from the scanned slabs. You will have the opportunity to work in all other areas of the business to gain a complete understanding of each job role and what is involved in each process.
