Brief Description
Are you looking for a career in hairdressing? As an apprentice hairdresser you will receive training on cutting, colouring and styling hair as well as prepping clients for the salons stylists. You will receive industry experience working alongside stylists, whilst gaining a qualification.
Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths.

Nicola Cruickshank Hair in Corby is looking for a hairdressing apprentice to join her team. Is this just what you have been looking for?
So what will you be learning?
You will receive training that will support your confidence and skills in offering treatments, styling, cutting and colouring.
You will meeting and greeting clients, making them comfortable, including offering them a drink.
You will be prepping clients ready for stylists. And you will contribute to the general housekeeping of the salon, ensuring it is tidy and well organised.
As well as this you will be shampooing clients hair.
You will take off clients colours.
You will support with general administrative tasks within the salon such as answering the phone, helping with enquiries and booking clients in.
You will support stylists throughout the day.
You will attend Tresham College in Kettering once a week, starting on 23rd September.

This is a busy salon and the employer requires someone who is confident, hardworking, keen and willing to work, learn new things and build your own client base up. Candidates must carry out an initial interview with a member of the Tresham College Apprenticeship Recruitment Team.
