Brief Description

Are you looking for a Carpentry Apprenticeship? Francis Jackson Homes are looking for an apprentice to join their team. You will be working in locations in and around Northamptonshire and Rugby.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths.

Are you looking for a Carpentry Apprenticeship? Francis Jackson Holmes are a family owned company, specialising in well built award winning traditional and contemporary homes.

The new apprentice will be working as part of an on-site team learning all necessary trade related skills to progress through an apprenticeship and become a fully qualified tradesperson in carpentry.

So what will you be doing?

Roofing & Joisting

First and Second Fix Carpentry Works.

You will be Installing Kitchens, Finals, Cladding, Windows.

Loading out and ensuring relevant protection is in place.

As an Apprentice Carpenter your principle role is to successfully complete a Level 2 Qualification, following a structured training programme combining college study (where applicable) with on-the-job training leading to a full standard carpentry qualification.

Job sites will vary but you will be working in areas such as Corby, Kettering, Northampton and Rugby.

The employer will be able to discuss with you travel arrangements as it may be possible for lifts to site until you can drive yourself.

As a Carpentry Apprentice you will be lifting, pulling and managing heavy equipment objects. Your job will require you to work in different weather conditions, you must be prepared for both Hot and Cold temperatures.
