Brief Description

Are you looking for a Bricklaying Apprenticeship? You will be assisting Francis Jackson Holmes with all activities such as keeping the site tidy, mixing up, loading out and learning bricklaying and block work. You will be working in locations in and around Northamptonshire and Rugby.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths.

Are you looking for a Bricklaying Apprenticeship? Francis Jackson Holmes are a family owned company, specialising in well built award winning traditional and contemporary homes.

The new apprentice will be working as part of an on-site team learning all necessary trade related skills to progress through an apprenticeship and become a fully qualified tradesperson in bricklaying.

The daily tasks are pretty much all aspects of construction and building work, and will vary day to day with:

Site preparation and tidying, loading out, mixing up cement, brickwork, blockwork and stonework and operating power tools.

The role will be suited to someone who wants to learn all aspects of building work specialising in brickwork.

Job sites will vary but you will be working in areas such as Corby, Kettering, Northampton and Rugby.

The employer will be able to discuss with you travel arrangements as it may be possible for lifts to site until you can drive yourself.
