Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths

Based in Oundle, Fairline Yachts are a leading manufacturer in creating high quality, luxury Yachts. With a vast range of yachts already in production, including the award winning Squadron 58 and brand new Targa 40 ranges being launched in the last six months, it is an exciting time to come aboard and join Fairline to kickstart your career in a specialist trade.
During your apprenticeship you will be supported by a dedicated Apprentice Master and their highly experienced engineering teams to build your skills and knowledge in both mechanical and electrical engineering, to effectively support the team to install a variety of mechanical and electrical systems including (but not limited to); stabiliser systems, sea-fire installations, domestic plumbing systems, 240-volt domestic systems and cabin lighting wiring circuits.
Through working within a specialist boat building environment, you will gain valuable, engineering experience to help kick start your engineering career.
College day-release will be one day a week at Tresham College in Corby.
Due to the nature of the business and the hazards involved, the employer have an occupational requirement that all new staff including apprentices must be 18 years old or over on starting.
