Brief Description

Qualifications Required
The ideal candidate will have GCSE grade 9-4 (A* - C) or equivalent in maths and English.

Vacancy Detail
As part of the Tayto Futures programme, they are looking for 2 fantastic new Engineering Apprentices at Corby. This is an important step in the development of vital engineering capability.
This apprenticeship will allow you to achieve a recognised fully funded qualification in Mechatronics, a multi-skilled programme combining both mechanical and electrical trades.
So what you will learn during your apprenticeship?
How to use engineering knowledge and understanding to apply technical and practical skills.
You will help design, develop, manufacture, build, commission, operate or maintain products, equipment, processes, systems or services.
You will develop effective communication and interpersonal skills and learn about industry regulations.
And learn how to adapt to different situations, environments and technologies.

Candidates must carry out an initial interview with a member of the Tresham College Apprenticeship Recruitment Team.
College attendance will be at the Corby campus starting in September 2024.
Year 1- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at College. Years 2 and 3 - Wednesday at College.
The assessment day for this apprenticeship will be on 14th May 2024.
