Brief Description

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-4 (A*- C) in English and maths.

Vacancy Detail

Atlas Converting Equipment Ltd in Kempston, Bedfordshire are a world leading supplier and provider of solutions in slitting and rewinding technology and finished roll handling systems for flexible films and packaging.

Their training programme will enable you to gain a full understanding of all departments from, Assembly, Stores, Design, Production, Planning, Sales & Service.

They are looking for two apprentices to join their team.

The successful applicant will be motivated to follow a career in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Part of the apprentice's role will include building new production machines and installing and fitting of new machines, new components and assemblies.

Do you have both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines?

In this role you will use hand tools and learn skilled fitting techniques. You will also gain experience in all Engineering and Production departments.

You will be fault finding and testing in a supportive learning environment with a company who are committed to growing you as an individual.

This is a structured apprenticeship with a varied career path. You will be working safely in an engineering environment carrying out engineering activities efficiently and effectively whilst using and communicating technical Information.

Other Information

You are required to have some computer knowledge as training on bespoke packages and internal systems / machinery is part of the apprenticeship program.
