Brief Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to start your electrical career as an Electrician Apprentice with K J Wykes in Rushden. They would like you to join their electrical team as an Electrician Apprentice where you will have the opportunity to be part of a skilled team of electricians, testing, repairing, maintaining circuits and much more.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will need to have GCSE grades 9-4 (A*- C) or equivalent, in English and maths.

Vacancy Detail

K J Wykes in Rushden are looking for an Electrician Apprentice to join the team. This company are a leading designer and manufacturer of process plant equipment.

As a new apprentice you will be responsible for testing, repairing, installing and maintaining electrical circuits and wiring. You will be reviewing wiring diagrams and blueprints to determine sequences and methods of operations.

As well as this you will assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

You will also diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

You will be learning all the procedures that are needed for maintaining and installing electrical systems.

KJ Wykes is able to provide you with a solid foundation for you to learn and develop your skills in an interesting and dynamic working environment.
