Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme.

Vacancy Detail
Plastic Facilities Ltd design, manufacture, fit and maintain many products all tailored to the customers' needs. They supply to engineering, hospitality, healthcare, food, water treatment, chemical, electroplating, roofing and many other industries.
As an Engineering Plastic Fabricator Apprentice, you will work as part of a small team using tools and plastic welding techniques to manufacture a wide variety of products for industries. The work is diverse as each customer has unique requirements. Part of your role will include building complex low volume structures typically used in pharmaceuticals, food manufacture, flat roofing, and engineering. You will also be working with high-density polyethylene (HDPE, PE,PVDF & PETG) pipe and sheet materials to create chemical tanks, pressure pipe work systems, fume hoods and other related products. In addition, you will be assisting with workshop tidiness and weekly Health & Safety inspections, assisting with the organisation of stock and maintaining stock levels and learning about fabrication techniques in the geothermal department.

*The college course will start in September but there is an opportunity to start the role earlier in the year*
