This is an excellent opportunity to join GE Renewable Energy Wind farm, mainly based in Burton Latimer.
At the end of the programme, you will have completed an Engineering Technician Advanced Apprenticeship at Level 3.

Qualifications Required

5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including Maths, English Language and a Science subject.
Full UK drivers licence essential.

Vacancy Detail

Our apprentices follow a three to four year training programme, within the operations and maintenance organisation, with day release college attendance.
The Apprentice will function under the overall guidance of the Apprentice Officer, also on a day to day basis under the control of the Team Leader / Supervisor.
You will perform multiple aspects of maintenance and repair, inspection of the electrical cabinet, gearbox, generators, yaw system, braking systems, measuring oil and lubrication levels, repairing cracks and corrosion is an example of performance tasks.
Excellent communication skills are required, along with the ability to accurately follow work process instructions. You will have a keen sense of achievement and take pride in the work you undertake and produce.
