Brief Description

How would you like an administrative role working in education with Tresham College in Kettering? We are looking for a Centre Administrator Apprentice.
You will be part of a friendly team providing support to the college.


Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) or equivalent in English and maths.

Training to be Provided

You will gain the following qualifications:
- Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required).

You will also study a range of topics, including: IT, record and document production, decision making, planning and organisation, project management, policies, relevant regulations, stakeholders, processes and external environment factors.

Vacancy Detail

The Centre Administrator Apprentice will assist the department with a varied range of customer service and administrative activities and represent the department as a first point of contact by answering telephone enquiries and welcoming visitors.

You will support the Head of Department, Course Managers and programme area staff by producing a range of professional business documents, to include meeting agendas, minutes, letters, emails, reports, on-line purchase requisitions and proof reading. And also arrange relevant trips for the department. You will be working with a friendly team in the care department.

You will use various College software packages (ProSolution Student Database etc.) as required and assist with ensuring student data information is up to date.

In this role you will also assist the Examinations Dept. and Student Data with various tasks, including registering of students for exams, progressing learners, exam invigilation, sending out certificates and any other duties assigned by the Centre Administration Team Leader and be responsible for the collection and distribution of post, purchase of all printed forms, stationery and equipment.
