To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-4 (A*- C) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme.

The apprenticeship will involve working with the service team and other departments including installations & manufacturing, stores, control panel manufacturing, and various other teams. The apprentice will shadow field based service engineers within the south of the UK. The role will include testing equipment, attending product training, training to perform assembly tasks and assisting in the repair & maintenance of security systems. You will also assist in wiring electrical control cabinets, understand (General Arrangement) drawings and Electrical documentation.

The successful candidate will to be able to obtain DBS clearance for Airport Airside access.
The wage will increase to £19,000.00pa in the second year and £22,000.00pa in the third year.
