Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-4 (A*- C) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme.

Vacancy Detail

LCM Engineering in Houghton Conquest, are a successful, well established Engineering and Manufacturing operation, uniquely positioned to provide a One-Stop Turn-Key service for: Automation, Tooling, Fixtures, Design and Manufacturing. They work with special purpose bespoke machines and applications, Fully Automated Robot Assembly applications & systems and Specialist applications including Niche Vehicle Hand Built Tooling & Facilities and automotive – Welding, Bonding, Riveting, Adhesive application & General Assembly.

The role will be working amongst their skilled machine shop team on a range of machines from tool-room milling machines (e.g. Bridgeport, horizontal borer) through to CNC HASS machining centres. The candidate will also be working in a tool room milling machine practices and be programming and operating CNC milling machine centers from both 2d drawings and 3d CAD models together with 2d and 3d CAD systems and cutting path.
