For the right candidate there would be an opportunity to learn how to programme and set and and run pressbrake folding machines and learn to Tig weld if it was desired. There could also be an opportunity to train in the use of Solidworks 3D modelling software should the candidate wish.
With over 30 years experience, Seeco UK Ltd are a high precision welding and fabricating company, specialising in sheet metal engineering.
The apprentice will be trained in the use and programming of an Amada 4KW Laser and 28 Station punch combination machines. Part of your role will include calibration checks, running laser/punch cycles or combinations of both, off loading and general maintenance in order to keep the machine in good and safe working order. You will also receive training on other aspects of sheet metal work such as handling and de-burring, graining, spot welding and pull serting and general sheet metalwork duties, all whilst learning about and adhering to Health & Safety policies and procedures.

The wage will increase to £12,740.00 after the first year
