Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme.

Vacancy Detail

Established in Ampthill in 2001 by Lucia, the salon has recently been refurbished with a boutique style image. They offer a wide range of services using up to the minute professional products from top brands such as Milkshake, Moroccanoil and Cloud Nine. Lucia Hair Art pride themselves on their warm and friendly approach; their aim is to be a non-pretentious salon where all generations feel welcome and comfortable.

Part of the apprentice's role will include meeting and greeting customers, making them drinks, preparing equipment, washing hair, preparing hair and applying various treatments to hair. You will also learn how to cut, style, colour, perm hair, put hair up and learn all about hair and scalp conditions.
