Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme.

Vacancy Detail

Cranfield Precision (also known as Fives) are an Ultra Precision Machine Tool Manufacturer. They are known worldwide for leading-edge automotive camshaft and crankshaft processing systems.
The apprentice will learn about building Cranfield Precision machines learning through both a mechanical & electrical application of building these advanced precision machines. In the assembly and build of these manufactured machines you will work with very high spec hydraulic (fluid) & pneumative (air) components such as hydrostatic bearings and machine tools, learn about PLC machine controls, hydraulic and pneumatic pipe fitting, assist with machine tool builder metrology checks, log mechanical data, assist with machine installation at customer site and assist with service visits.
