Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme.

Training to be Provided

You will gain the following qualifications:
- Level 3 Plumbing & Domestic Heating Apprenticeship
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)

You will also study a range of topics, including:
Health and safety, core plumbing systems, electrical components and control systems, plumbing science and processes, principles of environmental technology systems, principles of fossil fuels, customer service and communication.

Vacancy Detail

Azad are a Milton Keynes based property maintenance company offering a quality service at competitive prices. They carry out domestic and commercial gas, electrical and plumbing work in the Milton Keynes area as well as Bedfordshire/Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and locating leaks, repairing and replacing parts, determining the equipment needed and helping to prepare cost estimates. In addition, the successful candidate will be assembling pipes, repairing or replacing parts and cut into walls/ tear up concrete to access pipes and repair or replace sections of pipes to stop leaks.
