Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme.

Training to be Provided

You will gain the following qualifications:
- Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required).

You will also study a range of topics, including: IT, record and document production, decision making, planning and organisation, project management, policies, relevant regulations, stakeholders, processes and external environment factors.

Vacancy Detail

Bedford Borough Council will be running a project which aims to support children and young people with Autism. This project will work with 10 Schools (Primary and Secondary) in Bedford Borough.

Part of your role will include helping with training sessions and resources for staff and children and young people to raise awareness of what life with Autism is like, support and/or deliver sessions and activities for children and young people such planning activities and organising food and refreshments. The role will also include administration tasks such as booking rooms and facilities, typing reports and minutes, inviting and organising children and young people to attend and other general admin support.
