Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme.

Apex Security Engineering Solutions is a diverse organisation, working throughout the UK, serving Government, Military and other public sector clients as well as defence, industrial and many commercial customers. Apex has over 50 years specialist experience delivering highly tailored and bespoke security solutions for Government Departments, MOD and local authorities as well as a multitude of commercial, healthcare and public service organisations. They have a long-standing team of over 40 experts, many of whom have been with the company since being established.

The successful apprentice will be trained in all aspects of the production and manufacturing process such as understanding the drawings and tolerances, CNC (Computer Numerical Control), turret press, CNC brake press, Component sub assembly, MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding, powder coating and Final assembly, all in line with Health and Safety procedures.
