Brief Description

Are you looking for a career in hairdressing? This salon is based in St Neots and they are looking for someone who is passionate about hairdressing to be their apprentice.
This could be someone about to leave school this year or anyone who is looking to change career.
You will be fully trained and achieve your hairdressing qualification.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme.

For people doing their GCSE'S now, work as hard as you can at school, if you do not achieve the grades needed then you will still be able to do the course but will have to take maths and English.

Training to be Provided

Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals, Functional Skills in English and maths (if required). You will also study a range of topics including: Consultation, Shampooing and conditioning hair and scalp, Styling and finishing hair, Colouring, Cutting, Perming

You will work at Molbys salon based in St Neots, Molbys Hair has a highly trained team which is passionate about hairdressing.
The successful apprentice will
Work at Molby's full time and earn money while you learn, you will go to college one day a week to gain a full hairdressing qualification.
You will be working as part of a team with renowned outstanding training to help you gain your qualification, you will be learning the skills you will need to become a talented hairdresser.

Part of your role will include assisting senior hair stylists with washing, drying and shampooing clients. Overtime you will progress to cutting and colour treatments as well as blowdry’s and styling.

Other Information

You must be very interested in hairdressing and have a passion for fashion.
Candidates must carry out an initial interview with a member of Bedford College (Part of the Bedford College Group)
