Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme.

Vacancy Detail
Venus Hair Salon are based on Bedford's High Street. You will be part of their wonderful and supportive team, learning new skills and knowledge. The salon has state of the art, unique rooms including a Harry Potter room, Titanic room, James Bond, a Hobbit Suite and many more!
The team at Venus are a friendly team who regularly go out for team building activities such as quad biking, Go Ape, white water rafting, go karting, escape rooms and meals out.

Part of your role will include assisting hair stylists with colour treatments, hair cutting, styling, blow drying, curling, straightening and up do's.
Other Information
The successful candidate will work on a rota basis: Tuesday- Wednesday 10:00am- 6:00pm, Thursday 10:30am-7:30pm, Friday 10:00am- 6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am- 5:00pm, Sunday 10:00am- 4:00pm (37.5 hours a week, one day at college).
*Please note that the college attendance will commence in September 2022 but there will be an opportunity to start the role earlier*
