Brief Description

Are you interested in working for an excellent company with a passion for sustainability? Do you enjoy testing and inspecting? Are you a problem-solver? If so, Ellab Monitoring Solutions are looking to recruit a Electronic Engineering Apprentice for their busy team in Letchworth.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English, maths and science or the ability to work towards Level 1 Functional Skills English and maths during the programme.

Future Prospects

On successful completion of the apprenticeship the candidate will become an integral member of the Quality team, initially as a Quality Control Inspector.

During the apprenticeship, you will be learning a variety of electronic manufacturing techniques including soldering, printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, general electro-mechanical assembly (box build) and many more. You will also be working on the testing, inspecting, calibration, and validation of products at various stages of manufacture. In addition to this, you may be assisting with packing, dispatch and auditing of finished goods. You will also be offered the opportunity to spend time in other departments to gain an insight in to how they operate and fit in with the company.
