Working Week: Monday- Friday 7:30am- 5:00pm (If aged 18 and over, you will be required to work two Saturdays a month. You will be paid time and a half for this).

Brief Description

Do you want a job that has variety? That will be different every day? Do you enjoy meeting new people? Plumbcity are looking for an apprentice to actively support the team completing activities within the business, such as working on the shop floor, serving customers, answering phone calls and dealing with online orders and queries..

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme.

Training to be Provided

You will gain the following qualifications:
- Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship
- Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)

You will also study a range of topics including: knowing your customers, understanding your organisation, meeting regulations and legislation, systems and resources, your role and responsibility, customer experience, product and service knowledge, interpersonal skills and communication

Future Prospects

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship a full time position within the branch may be offered. Ideally, the candidate will want to progress within the business and build a successful career for themselves.

Plumbcity is East Anglia’s Leading Independent Trading Plumbers’ Merchant. Their aim is to give their customers the knowledge and expertise that only an independent minded Plumbers’ merchant can provide. They like to create relationships with all of their customers, and provide a knowledgeable, professional and friendly service. Plumbcity carry extensive stock of all plumbing products. Some of the role will include serving customers in store and in the show rooms, making and taking phone calls, giving quotes to customers, dealing with customers' orders and completing admin tasks such as emails, filing and booking stock in to the system.

There are regular client events such as BBQ's, meals out, go karting, competitions and raffles which the apprentice may assist with organising.

Other Information

Candidates aged 16-18 years old will only be required to work 40 hours a week.

*There will be a salary review after 6 months to £281.25 a week*
