Brief Description
A new and exciting apprenticeship has become available as a Mortgage Administrator Apprentice. You will be required to work alongside an existing team of mortgage admin staff as well as a team of market mortgage and protection brokers in the Bedford area.
Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme.

You will gain the following qualifications:
- Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required).
You will also study a range of topics, including: IT, record and document production, decision making, planning and organisation, project management, policies, relevant regulations, stakeholders, processes and external environment factors.
Future Prospects
Potential full time position upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Simkey Mortgages offers a professional and fully personalised home mortgage, insurance and protection service. The team build close relationships with a wide range of mortgage lenders to ensure they fully understand their needs whether it’s just initial mortgage advice, or to obtain a mortgage agreement in principle.
If you enjoy meeting new people every day then this is the role for you! Throughout the year, you will attend hospitality events such as, cricket and football events, Ascot and event lunches!
Part of the role will include administration support, acting as the first point of contact to clients and updating them of their mortgage applications, maintain regular contact with the clients, keep the computer database updated with any developments and liaise between lenders, sales progressors, mortgage advisers, the estate agency staff as well as the solicitors involved in the house purchase.
