Brief Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Enerco Doors & Loading Bay Solutions for a Business Administration Apprentice within their busy Service & Installations Department. The company are looking for a highly motivated, flexible and dynamic apprentice to join their expanding team.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have GCSE grades 9-4 (A*- C) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme.

Training to be Provided

You will gain the following qualifications:
- Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required).

You will also study a range of topics, including: IT, record and document production, decision making, planning and organisation, project management, policies, relevant regulations, stakeholders, processes and external environment factors.

Vacancy Detail

The administrator role is the main point of contact for all department enquiries, therefore excellent communication skills are required to prioritise and resolve all queries in a timely and appropriate manner. The administrator will play a key part in the smooth running of the office and will need to be able to use their initiative when dealing with enquiries, to ensure a successful outcome. The role demands the ability to communicate at all levels with customers, colleagues, engineers and suppliers whilst maintaining a high standard of service to meet the needs of the customer.

The company aims to deliver a highly effective and efficient service to ensure high standards of customer service and you will be required to support all administrative aspects of the service to achieve these outcomes. The successful candidate will be innovative, resourceful with a 'can-do' approach and flexible towards the needs of a developing service.

During your training you will be identifying and analysing data to constantly improve data quality, customer service and subsequent departmental performance.

During your apprenticeship you will be working across a number of departments to be given an overview and insight into the day to day activities:

Service & Installations

Take incoming calls and assist with queries
Process new repair & maintenance orders
Follow up delivery dates & book in purchase orders
Confirm upcoming jobs with customers
Book accommodation for upcoming jobs where engineers have been asked to work away
Update Inventory Records

Sales & Marketing

Request Door/Part prices from suppliers
Prepare quotations and raise sales orders
Follow up outstanding quotes and report on findings
Send drawing approvals
Detail Order Requirements
Update Social Media Account

Finance & Admin

Credit Control
Follow up outstanding invoices which are due for payment
Allocate customer receipts
Match Credit Card Receipts
Order office supplies
Book company vehicles for service & repairs and monitor weekly vehicle checks
Scanning/Archiving
