Brief Description
Are you interested in becoming a Tree Surgeon? Are you interested in Forestry, Arboriculture or similar at College? Would you like to progress your career? If so, Arena Personnel would like to hear from you.
Qualifications Required
To be considered for the position candidates will ideally have A*-D ion GCSE Maths and English or a Level 1 equivalent
Personal Qualities
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the role, be physically fit and enjoy working outside as well as being a good team player.
Skills Required
We will teach you everything you need to know to gain qualifications, but you must be a fast and keen learner.
Being able to work as a team and be a forward thinker.
Training to be Provided
You will gain the following qualifications:
Work-Based Trees & Timber (Arboriculture) NPTC/City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma

Emergency First Aid at Work Level 2 Award
Employment Rights and Responsibilities
Forestry and Arboriculture City & Guilds Certificate
Functional Skills in English and maths
Personal, Learning and Thinking Skills
Additional vocational qualifications – First Aid (one day course) plus one other occupational test (for example, PA1, CS30 or Wood-chipper)
Future Prospects
Progression to a fully qualified arborist.
