Brief Description
We are looking for two Apprentice Bricklayers to join our team. You will be working in a building site environment, while being trained and assisting in day to day tasks of a bricklayer.
Qualifications Required
We are interested in finding the right people for the job but it would be beneficial to have A*- E in GCSE Maths and English or a Level 1 equivalent
Personal Qualities
You must have:
A good attitude and willing to work as part of a team
Good attendance and punctual
Be willing to learn new skills
Skills Required
You will need good practical skills, the ability to follow instructions as well as a good level of stamina and physical fitness to work.

CSKILLS LEVEL 2 DIPLOMA IN BRICKLAYING (QCF)
CG LEVEL 1 FUNCTIONAL SKILLS QUALIFICATION IN MATHEMATICS

Vacancy Detail
We are looking for two Apprentice Bricklayer to join our team. You will be working in a building site environment, while being trained and assisting in day to day tasks of a bricklayer. We have two vacancies available for candidates who have a good attitude towards work, are punctual, are good team players and take pride in their work.
The right candidates will need to be able to cope with the physical aspects of the role and have plenty of stamina for this demanding role. You will also be shown how to use specialised tools and equipment such as operating a cement mixer to prepare mortar, cutting and shaping bricks to fit corners. The apprentice will need to learn great attention to detail and be trained to use plumb lines and spirit levels to check that the bricks are aligned correctly. During your working day you will be using a range of other specialist tools ranging from hammers and trowels to state-of-the-art power tools.
You will be supervised by a fully qualified member of staff, and you must follow health and safety procedures in the work place at all times, as well as ensuring that all tools are clean and put away correctly
