Brief Description

Are you interested in Administration? Are you interested in Construction? M&J Construction are looking for a Construction Administrator Apprentice to join their team to carry out administration tasks and get involved in projects.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will need GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 9-3 (A*-D) including maths and English.

Training to be Provided

You will gain the following qualifications:
- Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required).

You will also study a range of topics, including: IT, record and document production, decision making, planning and organisation, project management, policies, relevant regulations, stakeholders, processes and external environment factors.

Vacancy Detail

Are you interested in Administration? Are you interested in Construction? M&J Construction are looking for a Construction Administrator Apprentice to join their team to carry out administration tasks and get involved in projects.

Main roles and responsibilities of the apprentice:
-You will be reporting to the contracts director and working within the wider construction team.
-You will be answering telephone enquiries from the client, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
-You will be learning how to draft sub-contract orders including carrying out cost comparisons to ensure we get best value.
-You will develop a full understanding of the contract process of change management, receiving of client instructions, and issuing the resulting updated sub-contract orders.
-You will be involved in managing the valuation process both from M&J to client and subcontract claims.
-You will be involved in managing the contract files, both online and physical ensuring the relevant information is filed.
-Get involved in developing project scopes from initial survey information ensuring that all orders are placed and within tender allowances, and where necessary balancing budget costs to meet client requirements
