Brief Description

Jarb Technical are recruiting an apprentice to work on CNC programming and the operating of various machine tools within the company.

Qualifications Required

You will need 4 GCSEs grade A*-C or 9-4 including maths, English and Science (Chemistry/Physics is advisable) or equivalent

Personal Qualities

A willingness to learn and the ability to be open to new ideas and concepts.
Be someone who can work with other people and mix.
Good communication skills.

Skills Required

General interest in mechanical things.
A want to learn.
Good manual dexterity.
Being able to work well within a team.
Ability to use your own initiative.

Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Level 3
EAL Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing
EAL Level 2 Award for Foundation Phase Gateway Assessment
EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering - Mechatronics Maintenance Technician
Pearsons Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering

Vacancy Detail

The apprentice will be expected to attend e college and carry out all the relevant modules within the course and pass.
At Jarb Technical, the apprentice will work alongside other engineers initially, in the manufacture of the company’s products and work requirements using CNC / manual machines and specialist equipment as required. From here, you will progress to self-working within the company manufacturing parts and components. The training will cover the use of not only the machine tools, but also the CAD-CAM software to aid the manufacture of parts. Also, any other new technology that the company invests into.

Any additional training for CAD-CAM software, First Aid and any other specialist requirements will be provided by external companies at the appropriate time as and if required.

As part of the companies work model you may also be required to work the assembly area doing final assembling and testing equipment manufacture within the company
